01. Returns
Due to the nature of petroleum products and hazardous material regulations, returns are accepted only if:
The product is unopened, in its original sealed container, free from damage or contamination.
Return request is initiated within 15 calendar days of delivery.
Products that have been pumped, mixed, or exposed to contamination cannot be returned.
02. Restocking Fee
A 20% restocking fee applies to accepted returns, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong product shipped).
03. Refunds
Upon receipt and inspection, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error. Reverse logistics costs for hazardous materials remain the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
04. Damaged or Defective Items
Inspect your shipment immediately. Report any damage, shortage, or defect within 48 hours with photographic evidence to legal@huronsmithoil.com. We will arrange replacement or refund.
05. Non-Returnable Items
Opened containers, customized blends, clearance items, and products delivered into bulk tanks or equipment cannot be returned. Diesel fuel and certain oils are strictly non-returnable once the seal is broken.
06. Mississippi and Florida Compliance
This policy is subject to applicable consumer protection laws in Florida and Mississippi. Nothing limits your statutory rights.
